WHY WRISTBANDS?

This year, the Chosen Few DJs Music Festival (TCFMF) is a completely cashless event – no more fumbling around for your purse or worrying about losing your cash! Your brand-new RFID-enabled, wireless wristband is not only your admission into the festival, it’s your electronic wallet, allowing you to “Touch & Go” to pay  for all merchandise, food and beverages at the festival.

So, how do you get your festival wristband? It’s easy – just exchange each ticket you purchased for a wristband!

Once you have your wristband, you can either activate and add money to it online (beginning Wednesday, June 29), or do so at one of the many “filling stations”  (which accept credit, debit or cash) conveniently located near all food, beverage and merchandise vendors on festival grounds – exactly like you exchange money for food tickets or drink tickets at other festivals.

FESTIVAL WRISTBAND PICK-UP: HOW IT WORKS

All festival tickets purchased via Eventbrite must be exchanged for wristbands.

Guests can exchange their tickets for wristbands one of two ways:

Wristband Pick-Up at the Hyatt Place in Hyde Park, June 29-July 1 (see below for details)

OR

At Will Call at festival gates on either day of the event (see below for details)

Guests must bring a valid printed or electronic (on mobile device) ticket(s) purchased on Eventbrite, which will be scanned and exchanged for a wristband.

Remember, each Eventbrite ticket has a unique bar code and can only be scanned once. Photocopies and/or any other duplicates of tickets will not be accepted.

WRISTBAND PICK-UP AT THE HYATT PLACE HOTEL, HYDE PARK: June 29-July 1

We strongly encourage guests to pick up their wristband(s) during our festival reception in the lobby of our festival partner:

After you receive your wristband at the hotel, you can register it online, adding pre-paid value so that you can securely, easily and quickly pay for all merchandise, food and beverages for sale at the festival, with the simple tap of your wrist. We’ll have plenty of staff on hand to walk you through this easy step, and to answer any questions you may have about your wristband(s).

WRISTBAND PICK-UP AT WILL CALL

While we strongly encourage you to stop by and pick up your wristband at the Hyatt Place before the festival, you also may pick up them up at the festival. Here’s where to go, depending on the type of ticket/package you purchased:

East VIP Will Call: Disco, Underground, House, Miller Lite VIP or All-Access Platinum Pass

West VIP Will Call: Disco, Underground, House, Miller Lite VIP or All-Access Platinum Pass

West Main Entrance: General Admission (single-day and/or two-day pass)

WHAT TO BRING TO PICK UP YOUR WRISTBAND(S) 

To pick up your wristband at either the Hyatt Place Hotel or on-site, you will need:

  • Valid printed ticket

OR

  • Valid electronic ticket (bar code(s) must be scanned from your mobile device)

HOW DO I ACTIVATE MY WRISTBAND?

Online registration of your cashless wristband begins Wednesday, June 29. Check back here on 6/29 for the registration web site link. Once you register your wristband online, you can load pre-paid credit to your account before you arrive to the festival. You’ll also be able to “top-up” your wristband at wristband “filling stations” located throughout festival grounds.

The bottom line: registering your wristband(s) ahead of time will help you get to the party sooner.

NOW, HOW DO I USE MY WRISTBAND?

After you’ve loaded value to your wristband, you’re ready to make purchases on-site by simply tapping your wristband to one of the payment points at the vendor stands. The amount will automatically be deducted from your account – it’s quick and easy! And worry-free: all unused top-up funds added to your account from your credit or debit card will be automatically refunded to your account when the festival ends.
IMPORTANT 
DO NOT PUT ON YOUR WRISTBAND(S) UNTIL THE DAY OF THE FESTIVAL! Your wristband locks instantly once it is put on, and cannot be removed without destroying it. Once you have it on, keep it on each day that you attend the festival. 

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT MY WRISTBAND?

1. A one-time, $2 Account Activation fee will be charged when you first add funds or “top up”.

2. After the festival ends, any funds remaining on your wristband that were added using a debit or credit card will be automatically refunded to you within 10 business days of the end of the festival.

3. After the festival ends, any funds remaining on your wristband that were added using cash must be manually requested using the Refund Form available by logging into your online account no later than July 17, 2016. Refunds on cash top ups will be completed within 10 business days of submitting the form.

4. All refunds are subjected to a one-time, $3.50 refund processing fee.

5. If you do not register your wristband, you must KEEP YOUR WRISTBAND in order to manually request your cash top up refund after the event.

6. Unregistered wristbands cannot be replaced if lost or damaged, and funds in the anonymous account may be lost. PLEASE REGISTER YOUR WRISTBAND beginning June 29, 2016.
